Mel is a full time freelance writer living in Texas. That’s right, Texas, the Lone Star State; The Davy Crockett Final Resting Place; The Wild Wild West (still). She even owns cowboy boots, rides horses, and can shoot a gun. Two guns, if it’s a good day and she feels like imitating Annie Oakley.
Mel spends her time (when not shooting guns or polishing her cowboy boots) traveling, writing, and dreaming. She lives with her husband, cat, fish, and lots of dead houseplants.
